The Business Services department, headed by Ian Woollard, is aimed at clients with SME businesses that require on-going financial and business advice throughout the year.

The objective in the Business Services department is two-fold, firstly to ensure that payroll and VAT compliance is adhered to and secondly to provide relevant feedback on what we see – To add Value.

In order to deliver what clients say they need, Pearson Buchholz have partnered with Xero, an online accounting package that is revolutionising accounting for the SME. Xero has been designed to be an extremely easy to use accounting system for you but at the same time being a comprehensive accounting system for the preparation of year-end accounts.

Pearson Buchholz offer support to new businesses in terms of advising on business structure including how to implement the right nominal ledger structure and reporting levels to provide what you need. If you are using a traditional accounting package powered by a desktop or a server Pearson Buchholz can convert your system into an on-line system and tailor it to fit your needs.

We offer support if you are required to report management information to third parties such as banks or regulators. We have received positive feedback about the structure of the management reports we compile and how easy they are to read and understand.
