About Us
Pearson Buchholz, chartered Oxfordshire Accountants, was formed on 1 May 1998 following a demerger from the national firm, Baker Tilly. The partners in the Oxford office at that time, Roger Pearson and Lynne Buchholz, felt that the time was right to break away from the constraints of a large national firm to offer a more personal and cost-effective service.
The flexibility that this encompasses has been the largest benefit since the establishment of the firm. The firm commenced in building a strong client base and appointed an audit partner, Samantha Daniels in 1995 to manage the audit compliance responsibilities of the firm’s corporate clients.
On 1 May 2008 the partnership incorporated and the existing partners took up their roles as Directors. At this time Ian Hudson, a long serving accounts and audit manager was appointed to the Board of Directors. On 1 January 2011 the company acquired TME Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers a Witney based accounting practice and welcomed to the Board of Directors, Ian Woollard from TME who had been a previous trainee joining the firm originally in 2001.
Pearson Buchholz has continued to be an accredited ICAEW training firm throughout it’s time and is also extremely proud of rewarding many of its staff with 10 year and even 20 year service awards over recent years.
